Established in May 2004, The Kramer-Oberdorfer Housing Fund (KOHF) raises funds to provide transitional housing, training and life coaching to homeless, low-income, single women with children in Northern Virginia.
KOHF partners with Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) and supports their Building, Encouraging, Supporting & Teaching (BEST) program by providing much needed financial backing for new home purchases. The ultimate goal of both KOHF and BEST is to provide these mothers with safe and affordable housing for one year while giving them the opportunity to further their education and/or job training, rebuild their credit and learn valuable life skills so that they are able to maintain permanent housing in the future.
KOHF is administered by NVFS, a 501(C)(3) charitable organization. Contributions to KOHF are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. |
